The 2016 BEATS awards finalists are businesses who have demonstrated business excellence in their chosen category and have moved on to the next round of judging. The judging is done by neutral judges from School of Business and Tourism at Southern Cross University. The winner of each category will then have the chance of winning the Best Business in the Tweed Award and the prize of $2,000 worth of advertising with Southern Cross Austereo.

This Year’s Gala Awards night theme is sequins and stars will be a formal event with some of the region’s award winning talent set to entertain us in a show specially created for BEATS 2015. Performers include 2015 Tweed Battle of the Bands winners HighTide, Asta “That Hula Hoop Girl”, Lissy Stanton, an Australian National MusicOz Awards finalist and introducing eight piece big band The Brother Norton.

Guests will be indulging in a sumptuous three course meal from Juju’s award winning chef, Jonathon Evans.   Drinks are proudly supplied by Stone and Wood Brewery and Mount Warning Spring Water. This is a Totally Tweed event! All produce and businesses sourced for this event are from the Tweed Shire.
