CHG are so proud to be part of the Kids On The Border Foundation who have made it their mission to support local QLD/NSW border kids to achieve their full potential, whether that be sport, music, academic or art!

Thank you to all our clients who came along and supported the recent fundraising race day at the Tweed River Jockey Club. Early indications show we have helped raise over $10,000 for the day!

Kids On TheBorder Foundation would also love to hear from you if you know of any young local champions who may need a hand to achieve their goals in whatever their chosen path is. Please visit their website and hit the ‘Future Champions Submission’ page.

To date, KOTB Foundation have been able to help four local kids take it to the next level in their field.

– $2,000 (airfares and travel insurance paid by KOTB) to a local surfer to head to the USA to compete in the upcoming World Junior Series.

– $1,000 (towards airfares paid by KOTB) to a local soccer player who was selected in a development pathways squad to travel to England in September 2019 and play against some of the major teams including Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

– $1,000 (towards travel and accommodation paid by KOTB) to a local rugby league player who was selected in the NSWCCC team to play in the National Championships, with the NSW Team winning the national title.

– $2,000 (towards travel, accommodation and uniform paid by KOTB) to a local athlete to head to the National Championships in Darwin in September to compete in the 800m and 1500m. This little champion recently broke the State 1500m record by a massive 11 seconds.

The KOTB Foundation is not just there to help sporting stars, we are open to all, musicians, dancers, academics.

Finally, they will be holding their annual ‘lurrrng lunch’ on December 6 at Babalou in Kingscliff. Please save the date. More info will be released on the Kids On The Border Foundation website shortly.
